Child Safety and the Use of Online Photos
At Junior Cuts LLC, we take the issue of child safety very seriously, including when we use photographs on our website, Facebook page, or in other promotional vehicles (electronic or print) where a child may be recognized.
Junior Cuts LLC understands the need to safeguard children who are included in the photographs, which means that personally identifiable information (PII) and other contact information of the children will remain confidential at all times. Junior Cuts LLC will never include the full name of any child in reference to any image. Before Junior Cuts LLC uses a photograph of a child under the age of 18, the child’s parent or legal guardian must sign our Parent or Guardian Release and Wavier which formally documents their understanding and consent.
This consent relates to Junior Cuts LLC's use only. No photos from this site can be copied, downloaded, or used without the express written consent and permission of Junior Cuts LLC and, where appropriate, the individual and/or his or her parent or legal guardian. Violaters will be prosecuted.
Please let us know if you have any questions, concerns or suggestions regarding this or other policies.
Use of the Recreations Outlet's Indoor Playground
Please be aware that Recreations Outlet is a separate business from Junior Cuts with established policies and fees to play on their playground equipment. For the benefit and convenience of our clients, Junior Cuts has arranged for Recreations Outlet to offer their playground to your child(ren) free of charge while you wait for your child’s hair appointment to begin. Supervised siblings may also use the equipment during your child’s appointment. Simply request the required waiver and authorized wristband from a Junior Cuts stylist or staff member before entering the playground.
However, if you intend to arrive and play more than 30 minutes before the scheduled start of your child’s hair appointment or remain on-site to play following your child’s hair appointment, please stop by Recreations Outlet’s front desk FIRST to sign their waiver and pay any required fees before venturing onto the playground or individual pieces of equipment.
Thank you for your compliance and your support.
In our effort to balance appointments with “walk-in” clients in a timely manner, it is extremely important that you and your child(ren) arrive on time or even a few minutes early. Given the short duration of the typical kid's haircut, appointments arriving even 5-10 minutes late without prior notice, may have to wait for an appointment once they arrive (depending on how busy the salon is at the time.) The reason for this wait is that a stylist cannot delay the start of the next "walk-in" client while we wait for a late appointment that may or may not arrive. Appointments more than 10 minutes late will be moved to “walk-in” status. If you know you are going to be late for your child’s appointment, please update your online booking appointment or call us in advance and let us know. This is extremely important, especially during our busiest periods/days which are typically Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday mornings, “after-school” hours during the week, and Saturday/Sundays.
We certainly understand things come up, especially with little ones. If you are unable to make an appointment and need to cancel or reschedule, please update your online booking appointment or call us at least 1 hour in advance.
We firmly believe in the value of your time and make a conscience effort to avoid long waiting periods for appointments and “walk-ins.” If we are having an unusually busy day or if a few clients prior to you had a particularly difficult time, please be
patient and understand that we are doing our best to seat your child as quickly as possible.
As always your feedback and suggestions are always welcome.
